Interpack

The interpack is a trade fair for processing and packaging machines on the grounds of Messe Dusseldorf on Düsseldorf Rhine takes place in a three-year cycle.

The first Interpack opened on March 2, 1958. At that time, 255 companies from nine nations presented their products on the 30,000 m² exhibition site. The first fair attracted 32,544 visitors. The second Interpack trade fair took place two years later in 1960. Since this year Interpack has been the largest packaging trade fair in the world. After the second event, the organizers decided to increase the two-year cycle to three years.

In the period from May 8 to 14, 2014, 2,700 exhibitors presented themselves and attracted 175,000 visitors.

170,500 visitors came to interpack 2017, 2,865 companies exhibited their products and services.

The next Interpack is to take place from February 25 to March 3, 2021 on the grounds of Messe Düsseldorf .
