Interton Video 2000

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Interton Video 2000 is a stationary game console released by Interton in 1975 . To play simple pong variations, separate plug-in modules (sparring, badminton, attack, tennis, super tennis) are required in addition to the device, the insertion of which into the corresponding slot switches the console on at the same time. The device does not contain a microprocessor or special circuit like the AY-3-8500. Rather, as in the plug-in modules, only standard electronic components are included, with the help of which the hand control inputs are processed in the sense of the game mechanics and the graphic objects are generated. The generated black-and-white image is output on a television with an antenna input, while the sound is output via a loudspeaker built into the console.

A game console similar to the Interton Video 2000 was sold in Spain under the name Tele-Tenis .
