Interzonal

Intrazonal is a term for soils that are mainly characterized by the influence of relief and rock . Examples are salt soils, limestone soils or groundwater soils.

In geobotany , mountains are referred to as intrazonal if they lie within a single zonobiom , such as the Ruwenzori , which is located in the humid tropics.
