The Invia Group is a Czech provider of online travel platforms in Europe. The company, based in Prague, has 1,300 employees at 17 locations in Germany , Poland , the Czech Republic , Slovakia and Hungary and operates in seven countries.

history

The Invia Group was formed at the beginning of 2017 from the company Invia, the largest online travel agent in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary as well as the travel assets of Unister . The Czech private equity firm Rockaway Capital acquired Invia at the beginning of 2016. The company is an established brand and market leader in the Eastern European travel market. In the first quarter of 2017, the travel division of the insolvent Leipzig internet company Unister was purchased. In March 2019 it was announced that the Invia Group wanted to sell its flight portal "fluege.de".

In 2018, there were more than 225 million visitors to the booking sites in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. The result is 3 million customers and 2.2 million airline tickets sold.
