Iodine value flask with standard ground joint stopper

An iodine determination flask is a special variant of the Erlenmeyer flask and is used in the laboratory . It has a scaling and a standard cut .

use

The iodine value flask got its name because it can be used to determine the iodine value , i.e. the content of unsaturated fatty acids in oils and fats. The glass vessels are available in sizes 100, 250 and 500 ml with NS 29/32 cut.

Iodine value flasks are often used instead of Erlenmeyer flasks with a beaded rim to store liquids, as they can be tightly sealed with the standard ground joint stoppers.
