Iria: Zeiram - The Animation
Iria: Zeiram - The Animation is a six-part anime series from 1993 that was released directly on VHS as the original video animation . The series is based on the Japanese science fiction real film Zeiram from 1991. Directed by Tetsurou Amino and the character design is by Masakazu Katsura .
In Germany, the series with German subtitles was released on Anime Virtual on two DVDs and three VHSs. The German version has an FSK of 16 years.

Iria and her brother live in the Mice solar system and make a living as bounty hunters . You get the order to end a hostage situation on a spaceship and meet the legendary monster Zeiram.
Characters
- Iria a budding bounty hunter who emulates her brother, she does not yet have a bounty hunter license because she is still a minor.
- Glen is the older brother of Iria, who trains her as a bounty hunter and lets her work as a support as long as she doesn't have a license.
- Bob is Glen's partner and is badly wounded in the first fight against Zeiram.
- Fujikuro is also a bounty hunter, but prefers to work alone.
