Ironik (born January 18, 1988 in London ; real name Michael Laurence ) is a British R&B and grime musician.
Ironik began as a party DJ at the age of 13 and developed into an internationally successful DJ. In the summer of 2007 he released his self-produced debut single So Nice . It became a huge hit on Channel U , a satellite music network known for promoting British talent. Its popularity was further increased by its MySpace page, which had over two million hits in a short time. So he finally got a record deal with Asylum Records . With single number 2 Stay with Me he had his nationwide breakthrough a year later. It made it to the top 5 on the official UK charts .
