Isabella von Lauppert-Martin , née Isabella Martin ( October 30, 1856 in Berlin - after 1902 ) was a German opera singer ( soprano ) and singing teacher .

Life

She was trained for opera by the singing teacher Raschig. She began working on the stage in Kassel in 1876, worked at the Stadttheater in Leipzig from 1879 to 1882, from 1882 to 1884 in Stettin, from 1884 to 1886 in Magdeburg, then as a guest at the Krollsche stage in Berlin, and took part in the Nibelung tour, Angelo Neumann undertook, and then worked for a long time as a guest artist until she settled down as a singing teacher in Chemnitz. "Donna Anna", "Pamina", "Agathe", "Senta", "Elsa", "Venus" etc. were among her most popular performances.

She was married to the opera singer Oskar von Lauppert .

Her life after 1902 is unknown.
