Isabelle Kabatu (born around 1970 in Montignies-sur-Sambre ) is a Belgian opera singer (soprano).

Life

Isabelle Kabatu studied singing at the Conservatory of Music in Nice with Jean Pierre Blivet . She won numerous international singing competitions: Pais, Bilbao, Clermont-Ferrand and Vervierst. In 1994 the artist was awarded the IST Prize of the renowned Giovanni Battista Viotti Competition in Varolla.

She made her debut in Lisbon as Violetta in La traviata . This was the beginning of a steep international career. She sang Bess in Porgy and Bess at the Houston Grand Opera, La Scala in Milan, at the Paris Opera and Tokyo .

The soprano is married to the director Stefano Giuliani . Together with her husband she founded the opera company Da Tempesta . This is intended to give young singers the stage experience they urgently need.
