Isallobaric wind

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The isallobaric wind corresponds to an ageostrophic wind component. It causes the air to flow together in the center of the fall area and, conversely, an outflow of air from the center of the rise area.

The isolbaric wind or the ageostrophic component cuts the isolbars vertically and points from the climbing area to the falling area. The vector of the local change of the geostrophic wind runs parallel to the isolables with the lower tendencies on the left.
