Ismail bin Ali al-Akwaʿ

Al- Qadi Ismail bin Ali al-Akwaʿ ( Arabic إسماعيل بن علي الأكوع, DMG Ismā'īl ibn 'Alī al-Akwa' ; * 1920 ; † 2008 ) was a Yemeni Islamic lawyer and historian who also served in many political roles.

He was one of the senior fellows of the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought (Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought), Jordan .

An introduction to Hijrahs and other refuges of learning in Yemen appeared in the Yemen Translation Series .
