The Istituto Nazionale di Studi sul Rinascimento is an Italian non-university research institute for the study of the Renaissance based in Florence .

The institute was founded under the name "Centro Nazionale di Studi sul Rinascimento" in 1937, and since 1942 it has had its current name "Istituto Nazionale di Studi sul Rinascimento". From the beginning, the institute has been located on the second floor of Palazzo Strozzi in the historic center of Florence. The institute has a specialized research library and publishes several series.
