Itaimbezinho is a natural rock canyon in the north of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, about 170 km northeast of Porto Alegre .

The Itaimbezinho has a length of 5.8 km, a width at the widest point of 2 km and a height of about 700 meters. It belongs to the Aparados da Serra National Park , which extends into the state of Santa Catarina .

The name Itaimbezinho comes from the Tupí - Guarani = Ita (stone) e Aí'be (sharp).
