Iturbe (Argentina)

Iturbe (also Hipólito Yrigoyen and Negra Muerta ) is the name of a village with 1285 inhabitants in the Jujuy province in Argentina. It is located at an altitude of 3223 meters in the Humahuaca department , north of the Quebrada de Humahuaca at a distance of 161 km from the provincial capital San Salvador de Jujuy .

Iturbe has a train station that is no longer in operation. The Ferrocarril General Manuel Belgrano railroad used to run there .
