Ius regale montanorum

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Ius regale Montanorum (also known as Constitutiones Iuris Metallici Wenceslai II ) is a medieval law on silver mining in Bohemia from the turn of the 13th to the 14th centuries and one of the oldest sources on mining law in Europe. It has come down to us in various manuscripts, but none from the time of its creation. It dates from the time of Wenceslas II and primarily contains regulations to remedy specific grievances.
