Ján Mikolaj

Ján Mikolaj (born October 19, 1953 in Bratislava ) is a Slovak politician . He is a member of the SNS .

Life

Mikolaj served as Minister of Education and Deputy Prime Minister in the Slovak Cabinet formed after the 2006 elections under the leadership of Robert Fico . In March 2010 he also took over the office of Minister of Construction, which he held until July 2010. After the parliamentary elections in 2010 , he was elected to the National Council as a member of the National Party, where he was deputy chairman of the Commission for Education, Youth, Science and Sport.
