Jägerkaserne (Erfurt)
The Jägerkaserne was a barracks in Erfurt , Thuringia . It was built from 1912 and was located in today's Christian-Kittel-Straße.
history
The barracks consisted of two five-story main buildings and was built for cavalry troops of the Reichswehr .
Today the state police department Erfurt-Süd and the traffic police department Erfurt are housed in the former barracks buildings. The barracks buildings have largely been preserved in their original state despite renovations and extensions.
