Jörg Lipinski (born January 25, 1953 ) is a German motorboat racing driver and lives in Berlin. As a trained boat builder, he designed his racing catamarans himself and often repaired and built boats for his competitors. He began his sporting career in 1969 and, after several international successes, received the highest award, the silver laurel leaf . At the time of the presentation in the Bad Godesberg Redoute , he and his colleagues Manfred Loth and Ulrich Rochel were in line with Boris Becker .

Sporting successes

Lipinski initially started with triangular files in the sport boat classes SD and SE ( outboards up to 700 or 850 cm³), he later achieved success with catamarans in the racing boat classes OC and OD (outboards up to 500 or 700 cm³, designation from 1986: O-500 or . O-700).
