Old Jewish cemetery in Sibiu

There are two Jewish cemeteries in Hermannstadt (Romanian: Sibiu ) in Romania .

• The old Jewish cemetery (“Vechiul Cimitir Evreiesc”) in Hammersdorfer Straße in the hospital district. opened in 1855. It was documented until the beginning of the 20th century.
• The new "Cimitirul Evreiesc" was opened in 1907. It is part of the municipal cemetery ("Cimitirul Municipal").
