The Jewish cemetery in Berdychiv , a Ukrainian city in the Zhytomyr Oblast , was established in the 18th century.
The Jewish cemetery on Lenin Street, north of the city in the direction of Zhytomyr , was occupied until the 1970s. It is the only one of the city's three Jewish cemeteries that has survived.
There are still around 5000 tombstones in the cemetery .
