The Bowden Glacier is a glacier in the Royal Society Range of the Transantarctic Mountains in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows along the southeast side of Salient Ridge in a northeastern direction to the Blue Glacier .

The New Zealand Geographic Board named him in 1994 after the New Zealand politician Charles Moore Bowden (1886-1972), chairman of the Ross Sea Committee to organize New Zealand's participation in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958).
