The Jewish cemetery at Knottenberg was a Jewish cemetery in the then independent town of Steele , now a part of Essen .

The burial site at Knottenberg is the older of the two Jewish cemeteries in Steele. The successor is the Hiltrops Kamp Jewish cemetery .
The location of the burial site on Knottenberg, which was occupied from the 17th to the 19th century, is no longer visible today. In this area there is now a children's playground and residential buildings with no reference to the former cemetery.
