Jürgen Bornschein

Jürgen Bornschein (born September 14, 1960 in Gera ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives from 1999 to 2001 .

After attending school, Jürgen Bornschein initially completed an apprenticeship as a heating installer , then studied heating, ventilation and sanitary engineering at the Erfurt Engineering School, where he graduated as an engineer. He then worked for VEB Technische Gebäudeausarat Berlin until 1986, and then until 1990 at the GDR Building Academy . After the fall of the Wall in the GDR , he was initially self-employed and in 1996 joined the building construction administration of the Weißensee district.

Bornschein has been a member of the CDU since 1987, initially to the GDR CDU. From 1995 to 1999 he was a member of the Pankow District Assembly . He was elected to the House of Representatives in 1999 via the Pankow district list.
