The Jakowlew Jak-152 ( Russian Яковлев Як-152 ) is a Russian two-seat trainer aircraft under development by Jakowlew . Series production is carried out by the Irkutsk aircraft factory.

description

The Jak-152 is a piston engine-powered trainer aircraft for the basic training of military pilots. It has a standard low-wing configuration with a nose wheel landing gear. In the tandem cockpit, the trainee pilot sits at the front and the instructor sits behind it on SKS-94M ejector seats. The fuselage is designed in monocoque construction. The avionics are similar to that of the advanced Jak-130 jet trainer . The Jak-152 is part of the UTK training system (together with the Jak-130, a flight simulator and a training center).

The first prototype (White 01) was flown for the first time publicly at the MAKS in July 2017 , while the second (White 02) was presented on the ground.

The test phase is to be completed in 2017 and series production will begin in March 2018.
