Jürgen Kogler

Jürgen Kogler (born February 9,  1977 in Bruck an der Mur ) is a former Austrian basketball player .

career

In 1997, Kogler moved from the Kapfenberg Bulls to the Fürstenfeld Panthers , for whom he played in the Bundesliga until 2004. The 1.95 meter tall winger then returned to Kapfenberg. In addition to playing in the Bundesliga, he also gained European Cup experience with the Styrians. He rose to the team captain of the Kapfenberger. In December 2005, Kogler tore his Achilles tendon and had to pause for months. After the injury had healed, he was back on the field for Kapfenberg, he ended his playing career after the 2006/07 season, in which he won the national cup competition with the "Bulls".

Kogler was an Austrian national player and played with the national team, among other things, European Championship qualifiers.
