Jüri Raidla

Jüri Raidla (born July 2, 1957 in the Estonian SSR ) is an Estonian lawyer and politician. He was the Minister of Justice of Estonia.

Life

In 1980 he graduated from the University of Tartu with a law degree ; In 1992 he studied at Lund University in Sweden . In 1987 he received his doctorate in law in Saint Petersburg ( Russia ).

From 1981 to 1988 he was a corporate lawyer for collective farms and from 1990 to 1992 Estonia's Minister of Justice. Since 1993 he has been a lawyer and managing partner of the law firm "Raidla Lejins & Norcous ", which he founded.
