JADE Austria - Austrian Confederation of Junior Enterprises
JADE Austria - Austrian Confederation of Junior Enterprises is an association of Austrian Junior Enterprises. Five Austrian Junior Enterprises belong to the network, whose interests JADE Austria represents at national and international level.
Basic idea
A Junior Enterprise should offer its members the opportunity to use their own university knowledge in a practice-oriented manner during their studies. The basic idea represented by the network is based on the following points:
- All members of the umbrella organization as well as the associated Junior Enterprises are students and will stop working after completing their studies.
- All members and the associated Junior Enterprises complete a comprehensive curriculum of external training courses and workshops during their active time.
- All projects, regardless of whether they are internal or external, are processed with sustainability in mind.
- All members are actively called upon to actively network with other junior entrepreneurs in Europe in order to promote the concept of junior enterprise across national borders and to initiate a cultural exchange.
- The umbrella organization JADE Austria and the associated Junior Enterprises do not belong to any party or political movement.
- The umbrella organization JADE Austria and the associated Junior Enterprises have no connections to church institutions.

In Europe, JADE Austria is part of the international network of JADE - European Confederation of Junior Enterprises. Several international congresses such as the annual JADE Spring Meeting or the Summer JADE Meeting, as well as several smaller meetings with other Junior Enterprises from all over Europe, offer members the opportunity to get in touch with Junior Enterprise members in Europe and to build up a Europe-wide network.
