JETCO ( Chinese  銀 通 ) is the largest cash withdrawal card in Hong Kong and Macau with almost 1,600 ATMs . The full name of the network is Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited ( Chinese  銀聯 通寶 有限公司 ).

The JETCO system was established in 1982 by the Bank of China (Hong Kong) in cooperation with the Bank of East Asia , Chekiang First Bank , Shanghai Commercial Bank and Wing Lung Bank . Today all banks in Hong Kong except HSBC and Hang Seng Bank use this system.

The JETCO network is directly connected to the UnionPay network in mainland China . As a result, the Renminbi could also be withdrawn at UnionPay ATMs in China by January 1, 2006 . UnionPay customers were also able to withdraw the Hong Kong dollar at JETCO machines. This service was canceled because the two companies no longer agreed.
