JMWAVE

JMWAVE was the name of the station of the American secret service CIA in Miami , Florida .

The facility was located on the University of Miami grounds and was operational from 1961 to 1968. It was the world's largest branch of the CIA and served as the base for activities against Cuba ( Operation Mongoose ).

During World War II , the site was home to the Richmond Naval Air Station, a US Navy airfield for airships .
