Jacky Schreiber
Jacky Schreiber (* 1961 in Caracas ) is a Venezuelan composer .
Life
Schreiber studied guitar and electro-acoustic music . He was awarded twice with the Premio Nacional de composición "Juan Bautista Plaza" (1986 and 1988) and with the Premio Nacional de composición "Juan Bautista Plaza" (1986), awarded by the Consejo nacional de la cultura and received twice the price of the Centro Latinoamericano de Creación e Investigación Teatral (CELCIT, 2002 and 2003).
His works have been performed at festivals of contemporary and electronic music in Latin America and Europe. In addition to chamber music, electronic and orchestral works, he also composed plays and TV music.
