Characters
Jacob
- As the youngest of five children, Jacob was nicknamed Two-Two ("Two-Two") because he always had to say everything twice to be heard in his large family when he was younger. A little older now, he doesn't repeat himself that often, but still often falls back into that old habit. In addition, because he always tells the truth, he always causes unrest. He looks up to his siblings, especially Daniel, and wishes he had their experience and wisdom. His naivete makes him a frequent target of the pranks on his twin siblings Noah and Emma. Its spokesperson is Billy Rosemberg .
Morty
- Jacob's father is a writer and author of a number of adventure books about The Amazing Ronald . He spends his time at home, writing his books, watching his favorite ice hockey team, the Montreal Marvels, or sitting on the sofa with the newspaper on his face. He also loves jokes and plays with his children. It is spoken by Harvey Atkin .
Florence
- Jacob's mother is happiest when she is busy with work. She organizes the household and her family and also has a full-time job. As busy as she is, Florence still manages to look chic and seemingly effortlessly go through the day. It is spoken by Janet-Laine Green .
Daniel
- The oldest of the siblings is an aloof and cynical youth. Always dressed in black, he is familiar with the latest bands and music. Daniel doesn't have much time for Jacob, but occasionally he offers his brother his view of the world. It was voiced first by Jeff Berg, and later by Rob Tinkler .
Marfa
- Jacob's older sister is both academically and artistically gifted. Marfa is deep in puberty and often takes it out on her surroundings. Busy with her own worries, Marfa has even less time for Jacob than Daniel. Convinced that Jacob will ruin everything he touches, she won't let him near her things. For Jakob she lives in a mysterious world that he doesn't understand at all. It is spoken by Jocelyn Barth .
Noah and Emma
- Jacob's older twin siblings Noah and Emma are bright, sporty and full of ideas. They have their own secret club, Kid Power, and spend long hours in their clubhouse in the courtyard fighting imaginary battles as their alter egos: the intrepid Shapiro (Emma) and the fearless O'Toole (Noah). They don't allow Jakob to go into their "clubhouse", which only makes it appear more attractive to him. Noah is voiced by Marc McMulkin , Emma by Kaitlin Howell .
Buford Orville Gaylord Pugh
- Buford is a strange little kid with a number of unfortunate names. His lack of fear and worry does not come from a lack of intelligence, but from difficulty concentrating. Often he tells meaningless, meandering stories. Buford and Jacob were both new to school and quickly made friends. Buford is spoken by Kristopher Clark .
Renée Ratelle
- At first, Renée and Jacob don't get along well after Jacob started class. Renée later teams up with Jacob and Buford to solve a mystery. Renée is hothead and doesn't always think about it before acting. Jacob's role will be to tame their enthusiasm. It is voiced by Julie Lemieux .
