Jacques "Jacky" Laposte (born March 24, 1952 in La Trinité , Martinique ) is a former French football player .

Career

Laposte was born in the French overseas territory of Martinique, but came to metropolitan France as a young man to look for work there; As a result, he lived in the capital Paris and was committed in 1972 at the age of 20 by third division Paris Saint-Germain to participate in a restart after its license withdrawal. The versatile player, mainly used in midfield, also made it into the French U-21 team and the country's military team. With the club in 1973 he was promoted to the second and in 1974 the renewed promotion to the top French division.

Despite numerous new signings, Laposte kept his regular place and entered the battle for relegation in the first division. He passed this fight, but disappeared completely from the team in the course of the 1977/78 season; even if he returned afterwards, the breakthrough was denied him. In 1979 he ended his career as a soccer player at the age of 27 after 86 first division games with seven goals and further appearances in the second and third leagues. He then returned to Martinique, where he worked in a hospital.
