Jacques Revaux

Jacques Revaux (born July 11, 1940 in Azay-sur-Cher , Indre-et-Loire department ; real name Jacques Abel Jules Revaud ) is a French composer .

In 1967 he wrote the song Comme d'habitude together with Claude François , which the singer Paul Anka translated into English and which became world famous around 1968 under the title "My Way", especially as interpreted by Frank Sinatra .

From 1966 to 1997 Revaux worked closely with the singer Michel Sardou . Together they composed and arranged, for example, Sardou's best-known songs “La maladie d'amour” (1973) and “Les lacs du Connemara” (1981).
