The Jagd & Hund ( spelling : JAGD & HUND ) is a fair organized by Messe Westfalenhallen Dortmund .

In 1982 the first Jagd & Hund was held in Dortmund with a response from 90 exhibitors and 45,000 visitors. Today it is Europe's largest hunting fair . In 2015 the fair had 833 exhibitors from 41 countries and 77,000 visitors. More than 30 percent of the exhibitors and 14 percent of the visitors came from abroad.

The exhibitors present a range of products and services from all areas of hunting: all-terrain vehicles , hunting clothing and accessories, hunting weapons and optics, travel, hunting dogs as well as lectures and events. Until 2013, the fair also included angling and fishing . This area has been outsourced to the independent Fisch & Angel trade fair since 2014 . Both fairs take place in parallel.

Both fairs are sponsored by the State Hunting Association of North Rhine-Westphalia , the Jagdgebrauchshundverband eV and the Fishing Association of North Rhine-Westphalia.
