Pfaffenkopf

Pfaffenkopf is a former hunting lodge of the Princes of Nassau-Saarbrücken from the 18th century. It is located in the Saarkohlenwald on a hill on the L270 between Altenkessel and Riegelsberg . From 1815 to 1972 the building served as a forester's house. It has been privately owned since 1983. The single-storey, single-wing building with a mansard roof has remained almost unchanged. The listed ensemble also includes a logger's house and a forest workers' sleeping house.
