Jakow Wladimirowitsch Steinberg

Jakow Wladimirowitsch Steinberg ( Russian Яков Владимирович Штейнберг ; * 1880 ; † 1942 ) was a Russian photographer.

In 1913 he was hired by Solnze Rossi . He was a reporter for the first illustrated magazines Plamja and Junyi Proletari . Steinberg was known as the "Photographer of Petrograd" (today's Saint Petersburg ). More than 6,000 photographs of him are stored in the local state archives.
