Jamaluddin Badr

Jamaluddin Badr ( Pashtun جمال الدين بدر) is an Afghan politician. He has been governor of Nuristan Province since January 27, 2009 (currently August 2011). He succeeded Hazrat Din Noor , who died in a car accident.

Jamaluddin Badr is a Pashtun .

According to official US government officials, all ISAF contacts with Jamaluddin Badr have been severed. The reasons given were corruption and, in particular, the lack of payment to the local police for months.
