James Carroll (politician, 1913)
James Carroll ( 1913 - July 30, 1973 ) was an Irish politician.
James Carroll was elected independent to the 16th Dáil Éireann in the Dublin South-West constituency in 1957 . After a successful re-election in 1961, however, he was unable to defend his mandate in the 1965 elections.
From 1957 to 1958 Carroll, who was a member of the Dublin City Council , held the office of Lord Mayor of Dublin .
