James Donahue
James Donahue ( James Joseph "Jim" Donahue ; born April 20, 1886 in Brooklyn , † March 15, 1966 in Glen Rock ) was an American athlete .
At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912, he won silver in the pentathlon and fourth in the decathlon , where he benefited from the disqualification of Jim Thorpes . After he had a place number of 29 in the pentathlon like the Canadian Frank Lukeman , the ranking according to the decathlon table tipped the balance in his favor. In the decathlon, he scored 7083,450.
