James Jernigan
James E. Jernigan is a retired American politician . From 1987 to 1990 he was mayor of Columbus , Georgia . Before being elected mayor, he was a member of Columbus City Council , Columbus City Council .
Jernigan had been married since July 1951 and had two children, a daughter and a son.
