James King (athlete)
James King (born May 9, 1949 ) is a former American hurdler who specialized in the 400-meter distance .
At the Pan American Games he won gold in Mexico City in 1975 and bronze in Caracas in 1983 .
In 1980 and 1982 he was English champion.
He set his personal best of 49.00 s on September 7, 1979 in Bratislava .
