Tony Waldrop

Tony Waldrop (born December 29, 1951 ) is a former American middle -distance runner who specialized in the 1,500 meter distance .

In 1973 he won silver at the Universiade , and in 1975 he won the Pan American Games in Mexico City .

In 1974 he became English champion. Starting for the University of North Carolina , he was NCAA indoor champion over 1000 yards in 1973 and in 1974 in the mile run .
