Jan Ehlen

Jan Ehlen (* 1980 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is an internationally active German media artist with a focus on light and video as well as co-founder and curator of the Shiny Toys Festival .

biography

Various individual and group exhibitions have taken place since 2000, as well as live video performances since 2004. Between 2004 and 2009 Ehlen was a co-founder of the art group ZgS. In 2008 he became assistant to the filmmaker and collector Werner Nekes . In 2010 he founded the audio-visual network Shiny Toys and has been a member of the RaumZeitPiraten group since 2013, together with Tobias Daemgen and Moritz Ellerich .
