Janina Brünjes (* 13. February 1996 in Bremerhaven ) is a German politician of the SPD . She was elected a member of the Bremen Citizenship in May 2019 .

biography

education and profession

Brünjes graduated from Lloyd-Gymnasium Bremerhaven . She then studied political science at the University of Bremen with a Bachelor of Arts degree and is currently taking a master's degree in Governance .

politics

Brünjes has been a member of the SPD in the SPD local association Bremerhaven-Mitte since 2013 and is deputy chairwoman there. From 2017 to 2019 she was also the Jusos chair in Bremerhaven and from 2016 to 2018 on the executive board of Jusos in the state of Bremen.

Since April 2018, Brünjes has been deputy chairwoman of the SPD sub-district Bremerhaven. In 2018 she was elected by the SPD Bremerhaven to second place on the Bremerhaven list for the Bremen citizenship election and won a mandate in the election in May 2019. She is a member of the board of the SPD parliamentary group in the Bremen citizenship.
