Jann Sjursen
Jann Jacob Sjursen (born October 20, 1963 in Frederiksberg ) is a Danish Christian Democratic politician. He was chairman of the Christian Democratic Party from 1990 to 2002 and has been a member of the Danish parliament since 1998. From 1993 to 1994 he was energy minister in Poul Nyrup Rasmussen's cabinet .
After his political career, Sjursen became General Secretary of Caritas Denmark. He left the Christian Democratic Party in 2007 because of their changed attitude towards abortion.
He is married and has three children.
