Jarre (unit)

The Jarre , also Giarra , was a French measure of volume and liquid. The measure was derived from the earthen vessel of the same name.

1 Jarre = 10 ⅔ liters
1 Jarre = 6 ⅛ Caraffa = 40 pints (paris.)
