Jarvis Tyner

Jarvis Tyner (born July 11, 1941 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American politician of the Communist Party of the United States , for which he was a candidate for Vice President at the side of Gus Hall in 1972 and 1976 . Since the 1960s he has always been a delegate at the party congresses of the CPUSA. Since 1993 he has been vice chairman of his party.

Jarvis Tyner is the brother of McCoy Tyner , a well-known jazz musician.
