Jasmin Müller-Alefeld

Jasmin Elisabeth Müller-Alefeld (born July 13, 1962 ) is a German teacher and scout.

Career

After studying to become a primary school teacher and taking a diploma in pedagogy, Müller-Alefeld teaches at a primary school in Coburg .

In addition to her professional activity, she volunteers in the scouting movement. In Bamberg she built up a local group and from the 1980s onwards organized camps for the German Scout Association (DPV) on a national and international level. In 1986 she was elected Federal Commissioner for Literature within the DPV and in 1988 as Federal Commissioner for Training and Education. After the reunification and the acquisition of members from Thuringia and Saxony, she campaigned for the establishment of the Federal Association of Scouts and Globetrotters(PbW), which today has over 2000 members. In 1992 Müller-Alefeld became the regional leader of the PbW regional association of Bavaria, and in 1999 treasurer of the regional association. From 2001 to 2004 she was the federal leader of the PbW.

From 1991 to 1998 she was also a member of the board of the Bamberg-Land district youth association.
