Javier Novello

Javier Novello is a former Argentine soccer player who played in midfield and worked as a coach after his active career .

Life

In his home country, Novello played for the Racing Club before moving to the Mexican first division club Atlas Guadalajara , presumably in 1949 , with whom he won the Copa México in the 1949/50 season and the only championship title in the club's history of the Rojinegros a year later .

After the end of his active career, Novello worked as a coach, among other things, at Club Nacional de Guadalajara , with which he won the second division championship in the 1960/61 season and thus made it to the Primera División . He later returned to his former club Atlas and won the Mexican club cup again with the margaritas in the 1967/68 season.
