Jean-Louis Burgnard

Jean-Louis Burgnard (* 1945 ) is a Swiss racing car designer .

The designer, who is based in western Switzerland, won the Swiss sports car championship title in 1971 with his first self-build under Charles Ramu-Caccia. Originally the Griffon 1000 Proto was a diploma thesis. This was followed by further in-house designs in the formulas Ford Kent 1600, Renault Nationale and Renault Europe as well as other sports cars. Some of the racing cars are still used in various categories and on different occasions. Jean-Louis Burgnard still builds racing cars in the Formula Ford Zetec category.
